Who is eligible to receive donations?
The first step of the application process will require that you select "organization type". Broadly speaking, MFTA supports arts organizations and arts components of organizations, government agencies and NYC DOE schools. Your program must be in the five boroughs of New York City.
What will be required in the application?
At the end of the application process, you will receive an email with a list of supporting documents that must be mailed or dropped off at the MFTA warehouse.
Please Note:
Your organization may already be registered. Please look at the list of recipients and search for your organization.
Special note for individual artists:
Individual artists may apply only for commissioned for work in nonprofit settings. An artist must mail a resume, proposal and letter from a registered, sponsoring organization (stating artist's name, project name, and beginning and ending dates of project).
