Free Style Arts Association is a not-for-profit organization of artists committed to spreading the idea of experiential art, or art that is created by the viewer. Everyone has creative sensibility and Free Style looks at the creative process itself in order to help people explore their artistic intuitions.
The Free Style Arts Association is committed to removing the stigma many people hold toward art. Many people say, "Oh, I can't paint," Or "I've never been creative." Our group of artists insists that you don't need to be an artist to create art, just as you don't need to be a musician to make music, or a poet to write poetry. Our artists are constantly developing new programs to introduce people to experiential art, giving people the opportunity to explore their own creativity.
Free Style offers a series of workshops available for students and adults alike, with different programs specifically designed for each age group. All the programs are flexible and can be tailored to suit the needs of the environment in which they are introduced, and the benefits of attending are endless. Individuals attending Free Style workshops gain a new understanding of their own creative ability, as well as experience a mode of communication that is entirely different from those with which they are already familiar. In addition, Free Style provides a new way of teaching, with a curriculum that focuses more on collaboration, working together, and learning from experience.
Free Style is a contemporary method of education, one that uses creativity as a means of conversation and learning. We are committed to the goal of introducing people of all ages to the benefits of interactive and experiential art.
